On March 2020, Shenzhen CLOU Electronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CLOU”) won a contract from its partner SAET S.p.A., an Italian company and DSO, an African company. According to the contract, CLOU will provide battery energy storage system to Cabo Verde, Africa.

    CLOU will initiate the delivery of the project, a pilot project for energy loss reduction and power quality improvement program, to the Republic of Cabo Verde this summer. This project is seen to increase the renewable energy penetration, lower the reliance on fossil fuel as well as deliver superior returns for our investors and utility customers.

    Following the Rwanda ESS project, this Cabo Verde ESS project is another breakthrough made by CLOU and SAET S.p.A. in the African market. With over a decade of experience in the energy storage industry, CLOU successfully has its delivery scope expanded from domestic to overseas.

    In recent years, CLOU actively expands the overseas market under its globalization strategy, strengthens cooperation with multinational companies, and enhances the competitiveness of national brands in the international market. In China, CLOU has its branches set up over 30 provinces, and its overseas business has been expanded to 106 countries and regions all over the world, including North America, Europe and Africa. In the year of 2020, CLOU will delivery at least 200MWh energy storage system for the global overseas market.
